eCareersGrad

Using these interactive, modular, video-based online courses, you can watch video-based answers showing what great (and not so great) interview performance looks like and access model answers and expert advice.

Graduates First

Careers Network has teamed up with Graduates First to provide a range of practice psychometric tests, games and video interview practice and example assessment centre exercises.  This gives you free access to:

  • Verbal, numerical, logical reasoning, situational judgment and personality tests.
  • A workstyle personality questionnaire and question identifier tool (QIT) which will help you identify the types of competencies and questions that are likely to come up in any forthcoming interview. 
  • Games and video interview practice, with questions for competency based interviews, strength based interviews and 10 industries (e.g. banking and consultancy).
  • Detailed, personalised feedback on your answers and performance and tips for improving your score.
  • Fully worked solutions for all questions that you answered incorrectly.
  • Example assessment centre exercises.
  • Detailed  and hints on how to pass their assessment process.

Student Circus

This job search platform for international students provides filtered visa-enabled job listings, internships, and placement opportunities with employers that sponsor Skilled Worker visas. This means you can save time in your job search by only applying to hand-picked employers who hire and value international students.

Opportunities in your home country

The Student Circus platform also has job and internship listings with new-age companies back home that value your global experience and education. These are available for international students from 29+ countries, including China, South-East Asia, Europe, Latin America and America, returning to their home countries or keen to intern in their home country during University vacations.

Student Circus also has lots of really useful resources, including an immigration guide, country guides, hints and tips for international students and a job seekers' toolkit.

Target Connect

Target Connect is the Careers Network online system which allows you to interact with our services, access opportunities and book onto our activities.  We recommend this for all our students and graduates so you can get the best out of the services we provide. Using Target Connect you will be able to:

  • Book an appointment  for individual support with a member of the Careers Network team.
  • Sign up to both Careers Network events and Employer-led events, held on campus and remotely, as well as a range of external and online events.
  • Access our Talent Match programmes, which provide exclusive paid short-term internship opportunities for our students.
  • Search thousands of job opportunities, covering a wide range of part time jobs, internships, placements and graduate roles.
  • Keep up to date with all the latest events and opportunities by creating your profile and setting your preferences, ensuring you receive notifications about the areas of most interest to you with the regularity that suits.  

If you have already graduated, simply re-register as a graduate to again access.
