World record success for bounce-a-thon held at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é
The world record is for the most people bouncing simultaneously in one place. In total, 324 took part in the bounce-a-thon meaning Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é hopefuls regained the record.
The event was organised by graduate enterprise ambassador Becky White. Becky and members of the University and local community set a new world record back in 2012 as part of the University’s Olympic Torch Relay celebrations and have now reclaimed their title.
Becky said: “We are absolutely delighted to have regained the title for the most people bouncing in one place. Organising a world record attempt is a huge challenge but we are so relieved that we have managed to pull it off once again.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time out to get involved, without them we would never have been able to achieve this. It’s a great feeling to be world record holders once again!”
Becky is now selling the world record trampolines along with her own Bounce for Beginners DVD workout. Visit for further information.
